Ocean City, Maryland

We're in Ocean City, MD for senior week. The weather so far hasn't been anything spectacular, but the sun should be coming out soon.

BUT...

Wednesday should be a nice day, so I went to the local Harley Davidson dealer and made a reservation to take a 1200 Nightster out for 8 hours. I am SO psyched! I'll let you know how it goes.

Back to school on Thursday; graduation on the 19th! Now, if I could just check my Structural Geology grades to make sure I passed.....

Good luck! I'm also coping with final grades and an upcoming graduation.
And I hope you have fun on the nightster! I personally like sportsters as starter bikes. There's no accounting for taste.
Congratulations on you graduation. It will pay off.

Hey, Camron.

The nightster was incredible .. I'll have pictures up here as soon as my roommate gets them off his camera.. I had such a great day on that bike!

I gotta agree with Camron, the Nightster is definitely a starter bike. Come on, its even smaller than my little girl 883 Hugger!

Do yourself a favor, and try renting a Dyna or Softail model for a few hours and a hundred miles before you go sinking your money into a bike you will most likely outgrow very quickly. Do not be afraid.

A Dyna rental is on the to-do list. The Nightster was fun, and while I didn't get bored of it in one day, I can see how it would be better as a starter bike than something I'd want for the long run.

I'll post here when I have the rental set and let everyone know how it goes!
